Randy Alan Russell, age 63 of Abilene passed away on Tuesday, November 10 in Abilene. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 12 at the Hamil Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 13 at the Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road with Pastor Wes Terry of Broadview Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Buffalo Gap Cemetery.
Randy Alan Russell was born in Fort Worth, TX to Otis and Johnnie Russell on June 11, 1952. He graduated from Paschal High School in Ft. Worth and Hill College in Hillsboro.
He worked as a plant superintendent at Martin Sprocket & Gear for 32 years. He married Brenda Nelson on September 2, 1988 in Abilene, TX.
He is preceded in death by his dad Otis Russell.
He is survived by his wife; Brenda Russell. Five children; Richmond Russell, Zachery Russell & wife Brittney, Damon Drake & wife Christy, Justin Little & Carrie Hensley & husband Kerry. One brother; Gary Russell & wife Beverly. Mother; Johnnie Russell, six grandchildren & one great-grandchild. Numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Robert Holman, JP Nelson, Jimmy Floyd, Jeremy Reicheneker, Russell Richburg & Wayne Conly.
